you have registered you will be able to customize the
page to your interests: News, Weather, Sports, Stock
Quotes, Horoscopes, and much more.
RSS News feeds is a relatively new technology that allows for news, horoscopes, and many other items of interest to be displayed on websites, or in downloadable content. Sites like CNN.com, Trib.com, and ESPN.com all offer RSS feeds for website visitors to use for free. You can select from our list of available RSS feeds to display on your My Wyoming.com portal page, or add your own.

To add your own RSS Feed, go to the web site of
the feed you would like to add, locate its available
RSS feed links (they are free to use), copy the hyper
link, and paste it into the Text box at the right.
After clicking submit, that RSS feed will be added
to your Portal page. If a website offers more than
one type of feed, be sure to choose the RSS or the
one labeled XML.
You can temporarily close a feed from your My Wyoming.com
portal page by clicking the X button next to the
feed title. If you wish to permanently delete a feed
from your My Wyoming.com portal page, simply click
on the Delete Feed button located at the bottom of
the feed. (A Confirmation message will be displayed
prior to letting you actually delete the feed)
You can also customize the layout of your news feeds,
by choosing which column, and how high up the feed
should be displayed. Simply drag the News Feed
Title Area to the column and order of your feeds.
(To drag a feed, simply click on the title bar
and hold your mouse button down as you move the
mouse.) Your changes will automatically be saved
for you. You can also save those changes by clicking
the Save button at the bottom.
Managing the Weather
You can modify the weather report that is displayed
on your My Wyoming.com portal page, along with the
one that is shown on the Wyoming.com home page. When
you register, simply enter the zipcode for the area
that you'd like the Weather displayed, and we'll automatically
grab the NWS Forecast for that city/town. To edit your
selection later, simply use the "edit" button
in the title bar of the WEATHER section.
Managing Stock Reports
When you register, you can add as many Stock Ticker
quotes that you'd like to see displayed in the STOCK
REPORT area of your My Wyoming.com portal page. Enter
each Stock Symbol as it is found in the NASDAQ or NYSE
and it will automatically retrieve the quotes for you.
(Quotes are delayed by at least 15 minutes.) To edit
your seletion of stocks later, simply use the "edit" button
in the title bar of the STOCK REPORT section.
